Steve and Kathy prepared for months for their "Angels and Relics: From Florence, Italy, to Florence, Alabama," exhibit now being held at The Evelyn Burrow Museum. They chose 60 of their favorite photographs that celebrate exquisitely aged stone figures and vintage vehicles found and photographed primarily across the Deep South, but also far beyond.

Weathered works of art they have photographed in cemeteries, plazas, parks and woods change daily under the sun, wind and rain. The photographers are

passionate about capturing and sharing interpretive moments of the transformation of man-made creations.

"We enjoy giving a little more exposure to the beauty of bygone eras that might not be seen by as many viewers if not for our photographs. When something is made to last, it won't forever, but for a time as it ages, it may become ever more lovely in different ways than the original designer could have ever foreseen," they say.
